Tip 2: Practice Speaking English
Officer will assess comprehension in interview. Speak English daily. Practice pronouncing official terms (naturalization, allegiance).
Tip 3: Review Your N-400 Again
Everything on your application may be asked about. Discrepancies will be caught. Be consistent.
Tip 4: Bring Everything
Documents listed: birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce papers, tax returns. Bring originals and copies.
Tip 5: Arrive Early
30 minutes before interview. Gives time to calm down. Shows respect.
Tip 6: Answer Honestly
If you don't know an answer: say so. Lying is worse than not knowing.
