EU citizens had special rights in UK (freedom of movement). Brexit changed this.
Current Rules
EU citizens now follow same immigration path as others. Need work visa, then ILR, then citizenship. No special fast-track.
Settled Status
EU citizens living in UK before Brexit deadline: could apply for Settled Status (equivalent to ILR). 12 months later: citizenship eligible.
